Let’s be real. There is NO perfect way to describe what you are feeling in this moment or any moment ever. We have poets whose descriptive words make us feel somethingˌ making us think we know something.
We run to memes to giggle and escape from some trauma knowing there is another individual who might be feeling the same. But the reality isˌ no one is ever truly feeling exactly like you are. They understand or share in your grieve to establish a common ground of understanding but to entirely feel the way another person is feelingˌ is impossible.
Pain comes in phases regardless of the sourceˌ it will rush into you like a waterfall and when it disappears it will never feel the same again.
Sometimes better other times worst. The most important thing about pain is to understand it and accept that it exists. You cannot simply expect a friend to share in your pain but you can hope that your friend might understand it to help you and perhaps them in the future.
