We all define ‘love’ differently
How I see him will be different to how the next person might, how he might see himself, too
This & many other factors contribute to the complexity of ‘love’
Like healing… ‘love’ is not linear
Things become more blurred & complicated when attachment & a chaotic sense of identify comes into play
And that’s where you come in
Like a good old friend… you’ll always have an intricate and an exceptional place in my life
The lies, false reality, that you fed my ego had me feeling intense
foreign
engulfing
feelings
When you began slipping away, & the feeling became ephemeral, and intangible
like a drug, I longed & craved for it
And I knew only you had that magic
So, like a boomerang I had to let you go
To find what you were looking for
However I knew deep down you’d circle back to me
So here’s to returning
Be a man tonight!
