God's love, poetry and reflection

Updated: Jul 28, 2020

God has this unmistakable way of loving us, and many times, we do fear to embrace His Love for us.

To practice it.

To look within myself and ask, “What can I do, to be a better person: To love God above all, and my neighbour as myself.”

Allow GOD to be your channel of LOVE.

Irrespective of your age, race, religion or background.

Irrespective of your health status, wealth, past or sexual orientation.

Here is a reflection of poems I had recorded at the beginning of lockdown. I would like to share it with you too.

Featured in my book: WITHIN HER WORLD.

Including motivational quotes from my book: PHILOSOPHICAL COMPASS.

I MISS

By Andrea Kelly Miles

I know many miss their people.

I miss mine too.

What I do miss more,

Are the opportunities and experiences I’ve never experienced:

Either too afraid to take that step.

Fear I wouldn’t be or do good enough.

I miss the lakes I’ve never found,

Roads I've taken long to legalize on,

Mountains I’ve never climbed,

And paths I’ve never found.

I just hope, if I get the chance to embrace this grace,

That I’ll hold on to it.

And make it last.

A lifetime.

CLEAR DOUBT

By Andrea Kelly Miles

Make haste to acknowledge the truth.

We all hide it in our own plain view.

Slacking our potential.

Let it out or remain regretful.

I wish not that life.

Take it or take flight.

What you do with it, is entirely up to you.

CONCLUSION

God’s love allows you - and me - to experience HIS ultimate love.

He teaches us to use our troubles to find solutions.

To find and see the unseen benefit within our struggles.

The growth we experience is above our imagination.

That overwhelming grace He allows us.

Yes, you may ask, “but how can God love a sinner like me?”

God gave us His only begotten Son.

His Son Jesus Christ sacrificed His life for US.

The Ultimate price that No-one can replace or re-do.

His words to His Father in Heaven, while crucified on the cross:

“FATHER, FORGIVE THEM; FOR THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO.”
