The real world is a place adults talk about a lot.
“Once you go out into the real world-”
“You won’t be so care-free in the real world-”
“When you grow up and live in the real world-”
The real world usually sounds awful.
It’s the same world where the poor stay poor
And children die of preventable diseases
And there’s pollution in every sphere of the globe
And the icecaps are melting
And animals are abused
And people are raped
And nothing seems to change.
But the real world
Is also a place where people are fighting for peace
To change what the future will inherit for the better
And that’s worth the struggle
