I call upon you to empower your fellow sisters, do not break each other down over a mister.

Let go of those toxic relationships. You’re a diamond, a thought they will soon realize while playing with worthless stones.

In the words of Astrid, from the movie ‘Crazy Rich Asians’; “It’s not my job to make you feel like a man. I cannot make you something you’re not.”

Breakdown the patriarchy system where men have held the primary power in predominate roles in –

Leadership,

Politics,

Social privilege. Male privilege.

Womxn!

“It’s not beautiful for a woman’s voice to be loud. Your place is in the kitchen, my dear child.”

Girl power.

Raising daughters to become warriors not wives, to stand together and rise.

Feminism.

Equal opportunities as the man, who was born from the body of a mother.

My body is not yours to take.

Not yours to break.

Not yours to forsake!

A sacred place, like a beautiful instrument carefully tuned.

With imperfections and flaws.

A scar that tells a story, a stretch mark that shows a journey.

My rolls hugging me tightly.

A secretive bond. Don’t take that lightly.

Hear my cry, hear my plea.

I don’t need your permission; I don’t need your laws.

For no means NO!

Dear woman,

of all shape and size,

ethnicity and race,

and different sexualities.

When you look in the mirror say to yourself;

I am a woman,
