The Creatives Behind The Work

FREDDY NYEZI
Was born and raised in the City of Cape Town. He is an aspiring performance-maker and multidisciplinary artist who expresses his creativity through poetry, acting and dancing. First introduced to drama by Assitej SA in his primary school years, he has fallen in love with the craft since. Blooming his dance career at a later time than the norm, Freddy has competed in both regional competitions as well as on a national scale and received a noteworthy number of medals. He has appeared in RIky Rick’s Sidlukotini music video, been a backup dancer for singer Rowlene Bosman and performed at the Artscape and Magnet Theatre, among others. He is currently pursuing a BA Theatre and Performance degree, specialising in Theatre-making, at the University of Cape Town.
